New to LPS Student Enrollment

WELCOME TO LIBERTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS!

Families that will be enrolling new students to LPS will start the process online.

The 2 steps to enrolling your child are provided below:
Step 1: The process can begin from the comforts of your own home using your home computer (or any computer with Internet access). You will need to upload the following documents:

  • Parent/Legal Guardian - Photo ID
    • Current proofs of residency- all must be dated within 60 days

      • 2 different utility bills - gas, water, or electric only

      • OR a lease agreement

      • OR a non-contingent sales contract

      • OR a settlement statement

    • Your child's state-issued birth certificate

    • Your child's immunization record

Once you have collected the above documents, visit the LPS student enrollment website to begin the enrollment process. Simply follow the directions to complete the on-line application, and upload all of the above documents. If you're not sure which LPS school your child is to attend, simply click here to find out which LPS school your child will attend.

Step 2: After you complete the online enrollment at Discovery Middle School, it will usually take a few days to get all the information processed and a student started. This is dependent upon an immunization record check by the nursing staff as well as course selection upon receiving any necessary academic records from the student's previous school. A counseling department staff member will be in contact with you about the start date and any questions. It's our goal to make sure the student can start as quickly as possible, while still making sure the scheduling needs are covered.

If you would have further questions about bus transportation, don't hesitate to call the LPS Transportation Office at 736-5360.
